Step 1: Importing your List

The first step to starting a predictive dialer campaign is to get your contacts into Voicent Live. To get started, click on "contacts" found on the sidebar. Then in the top right of your screen, click on "tools" -> "import"



Select your file (in .csv format) to import and check the box for "first column is column header" if that applies to your file. Click continue once you're finished. At the next screen, pick which fields should correspond to which columns.



Once you are satisfied with your import fields, you can click continue to finish importing. Once your import is done, you are ready for the next step.

Step 2: Downloading and Installing Agent Dashboard

On the homepage under "Get Started" click on "download" and then "Download Agent Dashboard" to download and install Agent Dashboard.

Once downloaded, open the software and login using your Voicent Live account credentials such as your email and password. Your name will be "admin" by default unless specifically changed.

Keep in mind, at least one agent needs to be logged in to start a predictive dialer campaign as all live calls have to be routed to an agent.

Step 3: Starting a Predictive Dialer Campaign

After you have an agent logged in you are ready to start a predictive dialer campaign. Click on "Campaigns" in the sidebar and select "Start Predictive Dialer Campaign"

Select your call list and click continue. The next few screens will allow you to choose which agents to transfer calls to and whether you want a message for answering machines or not. Continue when you are satisfied and "Create Campaign" once you are ready to start dialing. That's it! Your campaign is now up and running.


Possible setup issue: If you see a dialog window like the one below, do not worry. Simply select the large V button on the top left cornor of Voicent Dashboard, choose Manage Gateway, then select Use Voicent Hosted Service.
